Homestead Construction managed the design and construction of this energy efficient commercial building in the Otaki Commercial Park. The low carbon footprint building has 5.1kW solar photovoltaic array, low energy LED lighting throughout, 3.8kW 18m high wind turbine, solar thermal hot water panel, heat pump water systems, and double glazing. Excess power creation is transferred to the national grid. Precast concrete was key to the design for its energy efficiency properties.

The two-storey building has four individual business units, with a total size of 960+ square meters.

Client Testimonial "I have worked with the Homestead Construction team on developing the final design of our Clean Technology Tower at Otaki Commercial Park. We wanted this to have 5-star green principals, an environmentally and sustainable functioning building. During the construction period I could say the building was built smoothly, on time, on budget, and Homestead was a dream team to work with. They were very supportive of the project and there was never a time that we were concerned as the construction programme worked like a clock. I have no hesitation in recommending Homestead Construction to others and wish to use them in the future, thank you Homestead Construction!!" Stuart Pritchard
